Class 10 - Exam preparation
Exam Overview (time: 2h 15m).
Section A is 30 marks (1–2 page news article; 3 questions; aim ~4 sentences each; use theory + evidence, not paraphrase).
Section B is 70 marks (mini-case across cash management, financing, and valuation; show formula → substitution → calculation; interpretation can be a large share of marks).
Suggested time split: ~40 minutes on Section A and ~95 minutes on Section B. If you get stuck, write a reasonable assumption and keep moving.
Section A answer structure (4 sentences): issue → theory (define) → apply to facts → implication/recommendation (market reaction, incentives, or CFO risk).
Section B scoring habits: always write steps clearly, label units, and do quick checks (signs for ΔNWC, after-tax cash flows, and EV → equity adjustments). Finish with a short interpretation: what the number implies and what decision follows.
